On October 5, 2023, the MetalRem project investigators presented the perspectives of nanoremediation to the scientific community and partners at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. Participants had the opportunity to learn about the remediation of metal-contaminated soils and groundwater, PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) contamination, bioremediation of organic pollutants, and the latest trends in remediation methods in general.
The event was attended by representatives of Dekonta, ltd., Charles University, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Research Institute for Water and the Environment. Prof Michael Komárek and his colleagues Martina Vítková and Luke Beesley spoke with their contribution on behalf of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, CZU Prague.
