International project supported by Technological Agency of the Czech Republic via its programme Kappa is aiming a complex investigation of the use of different iron-based nanomaterials (with preference of novel materials like sulfidised nanoscale zerovalent iron, iron oxide nanoparticles and biochar-nanoiron composite) for the remediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with metal(loid)s from all perspectives. Consortium of partners includes specialists from Charles University's Faculty of Science, DEKONTA joint-stock company, Norwegian University of Science and Technology and Norwegian Institute for Water Research. The project is scheduled until April 2024.
